The SEAI business solar grant is doubled until 6 July 2027
The SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen Grant rates are temporarily doubled, covering up to 45% of the cost of solar PV, up to €325,200. It's a significant increase, and it's for new applications only.
How the enhanced grant works
- Doubled rates. The grant for your system size is doubled for new applications made by 6 July 2027.
- Up to 45% of the cost. SEAI pays the amount for your system size, or 45% of the invoiced cost, whichever is lower.
- Paid directly to you. You pay the contract price, and SEAI pays the grant to your business once the work is complete and the paperwork is in.
- Tax relief as well. Companies can write off qualifying solar equipment in year one under the Accelerated Capital Allowance.
Illustration only. SEAI pays 45% of the invoiced cost or the maximum for your system size, whichever is lower. Your figures depend on your roof, your electricity use and your rates. Estimates only, not guaranteed by Solectric. Grants are subject to SEAI approval and eligibility.
